This was disclosed during a courtesy call to Prof. B.Aduda, Principal College of Biological and Physical Sciences, by Prof. Bengt-Ove Turesson, a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, University of Linköping.

In his remarks, Prof. Aduda welcomed the move to have students and lecturers take part in exchange programs saying that the college will appreciate collaborations that increase the number of mathematics lecturers. He noted that Mathematics is a core subject that cuts across all disciplines but there is a strain on the number of lecturers teaching the course in all public and college universities in the country. In addition, Prof. Aduda applauded the University's initiative in teaching pedagogy skills to university lecturers. This, he said, would greatly enhance the teaching standards of the University by enhancing tutoring skills of lecturers.

On his part, Prof. Turesson commended the intense Mathematics curriculum that the school of mathematics has and acknowledged its positive contribution to students from University of Linköping, once the exchange programs begin.
